Not making fun of somebody because of their; Gender/pronouns, mental health, sexual orientation, race, etc.
There is no tolerance with that policy
No Alt/burner accounts:
If you are caught trying to use a burner account to make insider trades or roster moves in this league, you will be immediately replaced and the trade/roster move will be reversed
There will be no making trades based on real life payment such as money. It is cowardly to do so and ruins integrity of good owners trying to build their teams honestly
There will be NO posting dms/private messages involving trades in the chat/calling out owners for always sending “bad trades”
I understand that owners will send bad trades and everyone will value players differently. You can express your opinion without bashing another owner.
There will be a 3 strike system in place come the start of the regular season. Any of these rule violations will result in 1 strike. Strikes reset after every season.
Commissioner is able to make judgment calls based on other owners actions if there will be automatic removal or if there is no strike to be given out.
BE ACTIVE IN THE CHAT:
Im not going to ask everyone to constantly be in the league chat. Come in once a day, every other day, check your dms, trades and league chats. And most importantly… SET YOUR LINEUPS!
Lastly, we are here in a free league to talk sports and play fantasy football. It is just for fun. Everyone in our league has their own life outside of fantasy, be respectful, be understanding, bring love and positivity.
Startup Draft/Rookie drafts:
Startup draft:
Consist of 46 rounds of vets only snake draft
Startup drafter order will be decided by 3X randomizers through sleeper. Draft order is set on the 3rd random
Draft picks may be traded. Also, entire draft slots can be traded but only ONE TIME.
Rookie Draft:
Consist of 7 round rookie drafts
1st rookie draft order will be reverse order of startup draft. It will also be a snake draft
Every single rookie draft going forward will be based on rankings. teams/owners who did not make playoff brackets will be reverse order of standings in rookie draft. Teams/owners who do make playoffs rookie draft slots will be determined by their playoffs finish.
Owners can not trade 2025-2026 rookie picks at this current moment.

IR Slots:
Players that have an IR, OUT, Doubtful, NA, DNR/ COVID19/SUS are all able to be put on IR
Taxi Slots:
There is a taxi squad deadline of 3 years of nfl experience
After 3 years in the league, a taxi player either needs to be elevated, cut/dropped or traded. They cannot remain on taxi.
There is no deadline during the season on elevating or demoting players to taxi. This league allows owners to have full control over their team and their game plan decisions.
A committee full with a volunteer rep from each section.
Every single trade that is made across all NYS football will be posted into the trade committee for a review period.
Every trade is reviewable and must wait at most of 24hrs before being passed through.
Trade committee members have full capability of vetoing trades and having owners re construct the trade.
Trades will be vetoed if they are in clear collusion, go against the tanking rules, or if the committee feels like it has a value of 10,000 point difference (point eval is based off of KTC with committee members opinion).
Anybody is able to volunteer to be in the trade committee/Max of 2 reps per section
Trade Deadline: Week 14
Trading will be open every single day of the offseason
Trading open from offseason until week 14
Playoff teams may not trade past week 14!
Non-playoff teams can trade year round!
After week 14 trades will be disabled until we have a league/sectional/state champion
Tanking Rules:
Week to week every owner MUST START the best possible lineup.
If an owner purposely or inactively does not set “best lineup” for 2 weeks in a row a strike will be given.
After 3 strikes of not setting the best lineup, that owner will be put in front of the trade committee to see if removal is needed or if a draft pick may be taken away.
If an owner/team cannot start best available due to injuries (or things they cannot control) no strikes will be given.
If an owner finishes in the bottom 2 seeds back to back years, they will be subject to being released from their coaching duties.
Owners will be able to appeal their firing in front of the committee if they choose to do so
Owners are not able to trade 3 or more years in advance to 1st rounders.
EX: it is the 2026 season, you can trade 2026,2027, and 2028 1st but nothing past 3 years in the future.

Draft Pick Compensation:
If a player for any team/owner retires/ends his nfl career unexpectedly (injury, family matter, death, etc) that team will be awarded a compensatory pick.
If the player who retires or end his career early is a:
Top 20 Player: 1st round comp pick
#21-#50: 2nd round comp pick
#51-#75: 3rd round comp pick
#76-#100: 4th round comp pick
#101-#200: 5th round comp pick
#201>: 6th round comp pick if they record over 100 fpts over the year or previous year… 7th round comp pick if they record less than 100 fpts that year or previous year.

Weighted Lottery system odds:
Teams that finish the regular season # 7-#14 (did not make the playoffs) will have the reverse order of how many “lottery balls” they have. For example, last place finish (14th) will have the best lottery odds with 14 balls in the generator, 13th will have 13 and so on until 7th place finish.
Teams that make playoffs (#1-#6) lottery odds will be determined by the order in which they finish in the playoffs. 1st place champion (sectional title) will receive 1 “lottery ball” 2 will receive 2 and so on til #6.
Commish will do live lottery odds before the rookie draft every year in each section.
Results of previous league standings, previous lottery odds, etc will be posted in our NYS Sectional group thread
